This ministry was started by Pat and Dale Johnson back in 2001. Pat had a brother who was homeless, and it sparked a desire in her to help other homeless people. She and Dale spent every other Saturday downtown serving the homeless. They spent many days in between driving to get donated items, bagging cookies individually, assembling plasticware and rolling it in napkins and bagging them, and so much more.
After many years of faithful service, they have had to step away from the ministry. It took a team to replace the two of them!
We are so grateful to have so many people with a heart to serve on this ministry. There are way too many to name, which is a blessing that we don't take lightly.
