We are committed to reaching out to homeless individuals in our community with the love of Christ, treating each person with dignity and respect.

Seeing the Whole Person

Our primary mission is to help the people we serve feel seen. We recognize that homelessness often brings isolation, invisibility, and loss of human dignity. We are here to acknowledge each person's worth and humanity.

It's better to be a sparrow than a person living on the street.

Spiritual Care & Prayer

While we provide food and essential items, our primary focus is spiritual care. We offer prayer, companionship, and the message of Christ's love to those we encounter. We pray with and for the people we serve, seeking to meet their spiritual needs above all else.

Physical Support with a Servant's Heart

We bring and distribute food items and essential supplies as a means to an end—not our primary mission. We are there to serve. Just as stated in Philippians 2:3-4, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of others." Physical provision opens doors for meaningful relationships and spiritual connection with those we serve. These interactions can be a conduit that brings someone who is far from God a little bit closer.

Our approach to ministry is practical and personal, rooted in love, respect, and teamwork:

• We go to the streets of Indianapolis every other Saturday, year round.
• We change a sidewalk into a buffet line within 15 minutes.
• We start serving at 12:45 and serve between 75–250 people.
• Volunteers buy and cook whatever they choose to donate, then bring it down or drop it off at Brandywine Community Church.
• We hand out goodie packs of food for people to take and eat later, and hygiene packs when we can.
• We show Christ's love to all our clients.
• We work as a team and don't argue with each other or our clients.
• We speak respectfully to each other and to our clients.
• We give reasonable portions and remind clients they can come back through the line, ensuring everyone gets to eat.
• We recognize that not all of our clients are Christian and not all are homeless; we love and serve them anyway.
• We offer to pray for or with our clients when they appear in distress. (If you're not comfortable praying, ask to identify the designated prayer warrior for that day.)
